ducks in flight

Ahh....the majestic Mallard! Beautiful (and tasty) bird!

Shot 4 yesterday, and will eat them tonight! Wrap the breast in bacon, a little cream cheese (not too much) and seasoning.....wrap in foil, then grill slowly over low heat.....delicious!

And a kicker.....

I use the feathers to tie flies to catch trout!

Mergansers are another beautiful duck.....but not as tasty, IMO :(

Ahh.....don't have those down here, a close cousin, I assume? I was wondering about the head. Figured it was just a wierd mallard :)

Whatever it is, its a good looking bird!
