Hold a horse back from winning in any given race is the same as a football player holding back in any given game. Missed blocks and /or dropped and errantly thrown passes anyone?
And, the NFL fully supports daily fantasy sports wagering. In fact, both Robert Kraft and Jerry Jones have bought equity in DraftKings.
This isn't your daddys' NFL..........good article below.

Horse racing has faced same issues as daily fantasy games

Nevada Gaming Comm. has pulled the plug in NV. on daily fantasy games. Sez they can apply for a NV. Gaming License since it is gambling, tho'.

I put $25 in and lost it and that's all I'll give them. The shit is so rigged. You can enter as many teams as you want in a game so you have these sharks that use algorithms to come up with all the possible teams that stand the most chance of winning and they enter as many as it takes to guarantee a win and walk with the profit. It's impossible to compete. All they have to do to make it fair is limit the amount of teams you can enter and then it's a level playing field

State of New York Atty.Gen. orders Fanduel and Draftkings to stop accepting bets. Looks like all bets are off there, too.

It was a legalized form of gambling till it became obvious that the employees were gaming the system. It's totally corrupt.

It's gambling, pure and simple. The bans will grow from state to state, just a matter of time. Unless they cut the states some action.
