The private sector data that are seasonally adjusted in the attachment do not give much credence to August as being little more than a jobs-fair making month, with actual starts of jobs yet to happen in the fall.

The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for June was revised from
+46,000 to +20,000, and the change for July was revised from +117,000 to
+85,000.

Looks like revisions subtracted 58,000 jobs.
Is it dishonest to actually subtract 58,000?

2. The first successes of the Great Ivy League Level Socialist Obama Intervention showed up in the Household Survey, which creates is the Official U. S. Unemployment Rate, among all nations. That report held steady at 9.1% in August, with 300,000 new jobs explained against the backdrop of a larger labor force. More people are now more confident.

3. The Recovery is shown slow, in the report, due to 550,000 fewer state and local jobs since the onset of "The Great Recession Caused By Bush, Cheney, McCain, Palin, Romney, Perry, McConnell, Boehner, Cantor, Bachmann, Cain, Huntsman, Paul, Paul, et. al.," as it is variously known: If never called. In usual recoveries there would be an increase of government employment, and an increase in housing starts.

The Financial Collapse destroyed the new-home construction employment sector such in the future yet to happen, there will even be a shortage of skilled-level tradespeople, now unable to find apprenticeships to be completed. That was an intention outcome of GOP supporitive of an unregulated banking sector. Why should management at Verizon comprimise? They probably would have 10 takers for those each one of those jobs.

And, yeah, we do want to see the number of government jobs reduced. Most of those people are useless.

Hey, you want to know why people aren't hiring? Because Obama put in this idiotic ObamaCare law, which makes you pay huge fines if you don't have the right kind of insurance if you have over 50 employees.

So if you are at 49 employees, you aren't going to hire two more.

And if you are at 51 employees, you are going to dump a couple of them.

But let's say we give the Community Organizer credit for 62,000 jobs created.

It still takes 150,000 jobs to keep even. That's how many new people enter the work force every month.

Governments and populations worldwide will note that the unemployment rate in the United States held steady at 9.1% in August. Clearly, the labor force does tend to increase as new entrants from the schools--that caused the entire downturn in fhe first place--come into the workplace.

330,000 jobs were created in August, shown in the Household Survey. Posters like JoeB131 don't think they have any rights to be paid. GOP presidential candidates didn't even notice them, clearly suggesting that they should not be paid or even have rights to negotiate for better pay and benefits.

The Labor Department household survey is in a link in this thread already posted:

Labor Force in July: 153,224; Labor Force in August: 153,594;
Employed in July: 139,296; Employed in August: 139,627;

The numbers are in thousands of persons. August was a lot better month than July, consistent with an economy adding to the labor force, and adding to employment, coming out of the depths of the Bush-Cheney-Paulson-McCain-Palin-Boehner-Cantor-Perry-Romney-Bachmann--Huntstman-Cain-McConnell--Paul-Paul, et. al., caused Great Recession.

The Decisions started with a failure to understand the complete record of the NIE's, of the law, and of the Protphets. Unregulated banks reamin the GOP policy agenda, even now: Especially in the Governor Perry, pro-Haiti, pro-East Africa, laissez-faire agenda for Americans, and especially Texans.
