Did the election dictate the House do as told by the Senate?

So Senators have the behaviour traits of a 14 year old ... yeah...tell us something we don't already know.

Simple enough question. Obama claimed he would compromise with the House, meanwhile the Senate has stated they will do no such thing.

Since fiscal initiatives are the job of the House, they'll have to go first and then we'll see. Whatever the Senate says doesn't relieve the House of their obligation. If they get to work on a deal, your point may be moot.

Sheesh. Everyone know that for the house, lobbyists trumps all.

The lobbyists can use the left over super pac money to lobby with.
Legal per law and tax codes.

Getting less than 51% of the vote is hardly a mandate for anything. The republican road block was left in place for a reason.

The House should do what they think is right for America, it's up to the Senate and you know who to either cooperate or veto what is right for America.

Did the election "mandate" that the house do "as they are told" by the Senate?

No.

Did the election cause the Republican Party to lose a significant amount of political capital?

Yes.
