Did people pay attention to your intro thread?

Did people pay attention to your intro thread?

I've been on too many boards to worry about an intro thread, although it is a good idea. The board I was on previously didn't allow cursing, and one of the first posts I read on USMB was by this guy named Gunny who cussed like a Marine (pun intended). At the time, I thought USMB was for people who got booted from other boards, so I didn't think I'd be around long.
