What gets me is the double standard.

If Bush misled Congress by "lying" so the Dem's support was VOIDED
why isn't the support of ACA VOIDED because of misrepresentation by the President?
Ex: 1. you can keep your doctor, your insurance, your premium rates and coverage, etc.
2. it's NOT a tax, oh wait, yes it is has to be to be recognized by the Supreme Court

And COMPARE the voting in Congress
With the ACA it was CLEARLY opposed along party lines, much more pronounced

So my question is:
if Democrats are going to say they DIDN'T consent to go to war "under misrepresented terms"

Why can't the Republicans argue they DIDN'T consent to ACA
(that was clearly pushed by Party, and misrepresented as either a tax or not a tax, etc.)

Why this political weirdness?

you still don't understand that the Iraq war resolution was a) based on lies told about the intel by the administration; and b) not a blank check to go into Baghdad. there were things required of the president before he could bomb bomb bomb...

you also still don't understand it was to give the president the tools at his disposal so he could be effective diplomatically.... unlike what the wingnuts do with this president.
