1. If one loves America, one must hate Liberalism/Progressivism, the Democrat Party.

No two ways about it.

Every day, in every way, they strike a blow against this great nation.

Make no mistake, this is not merely the unrealistic desires that they turn into laws and regulations, it is the outright attempts to weaken America!

In this thread, I will document the Democrat Party's associations with communism, and the efforts of the Democrat Party to emasculate the intelligence community that protects all of us.

2. What brought this into focus most recently is Democrat Frankenfeinstein's odious "CIA" report.
Yesterday (12/9), the Liberal/Progressive Democrat Party aimed their slash and burn tactics at the agency which is designed to anticipate and blunt future attacks on the nation.

a. " The CIA "provided inaccurate information to the White House, Congress, the Justice Department, the CIA inspector general, the media and the American public" about the "brutal" interrogation techniques it used on terrorism suspects, a long-held Senate intelligence committee report finds.."
Report Says CIA Misled Congress White House On Interrogation Program The Two-Way NPR

The liars from the Left attacking America again.

And the lie is central here:

b. "....aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks ....Nobody wants to do something that is going to bring on any kind of attack,” Ms. Feinstein, the committee’s chairwoman, told reporters after her hourlong speech from the Senate floor on Tuesday describing the report and its harsh criticism of the Central Intelligence Agency’s interrogation program."
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/10/u...-reports-release-is-a-signal-moment.html?_r=0

I will show that the efforts of the Liberal/Progressive Democrat Party, are meant to do exactly that: ".... bring on any kind of attack,".....and are responsible for the 9/11 attacks themselves.

c. " At times, she had seemed to waver when pressure mounted against disclosing the report, which was assembled over five years by committee Democrats."
Ibid.

If there is some reason for the incessant attacks on the intelligence agencies by Democrats, other than the desire to weaken America.....what is it?

The timing of this is obvious. they are trying to take the spotlight off of their massive congressional losses, Gruber, Obama's illegal amnesty EO, the failed obama economy, the IRS, VA, Benghazi, Ferguson,, and all the other democrat failures.

But its not working, Americans are not as dumb as the dems think they are.

Democrat Feinstein and the rest of the Liberal/Progressive clique are liars.

" Lesley Stahl interviews the former head of the CIA's Clandestine Service about waterboarding and other methods he says were essential to getting information from suspected terrorists, and he denies claims that these harsh measures caused detainees to provide false or unreliable information that misled the CIA. In fact, Rodriguez says that high-level detainees Khalid Sheik Mohammed and Abu Zubaydah provided their best information only after harsh treatment, a claim that the CIA's own investigator general has challenged."

4. " WASHINGTON -- Congressional leaders were briefed in detail about techniques used in the Central Intelligence Agency's interrogation program, according to a new intelligence document.

The document appears to conflict with recent statements from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was then the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee. Ms. Pelosi has said she hadn't been told that the CIA was using the technique known as waterboarding, or simulated drowning. According to the document, Ms. Pelosi was one of the first lawmakers briefed on the interrogations in 2002." CIA Says It Briefed Congressional Leaders - WSJ

a. "The leaders of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees and of both parties in Congress were briefed on the program more than 40 times between 2002 and 2009. But Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)tried to denythat she was told in 2002 that detainees had been waterboarded. That is simply not true. I was among those who briefed her." It is if the Liberals/Progressives of the Democrat Party have their way.

Re OP..Not to say that is not the result but the liberal view is a white wash called 'fundamental transformation' to the utopia they think is possible. Many are just naive worker bees..this not a new strategy but is a tactic of social manipulation that has been in the works for the better part of a century.

The Democrats and other liberal fanatics aren't trying to destroy America.

They're trying to transform it into something they think is better.

They are unaware (or they refuse to believe) that the transformation they intend, will result in its deterioration, increasing poverty, less freedom, and its eventual destruction. Even though that has been the result when their "new ideas" have been tried on other large countries, nearly every time.

They believe that if they INTEND to transform it into something better, that's the only thing we need to consider when evaluating their schemes. Good intentions make for good programs, every time.

No proof is needed. Fortunately for them.

And unfortunately for the rest of the country.

Answering only yes or no,

would you object to Americans being tortured by an enemy? Would you withdraw your objection if the enemy could demonstrate that they had obtained actionable intelligence from the tortured Americans?

No, I would try to kill the enemy. Did you forget who attacked whom?

Yes to your first question, especially when the torture included cutting off their head. No to your second question.

There are distinct groups one finds in the Nazi wannabes who are excusing the torture of prisoners by the United States. These traits have been seen in psychological studies of torture in the past.

In the first group are the deniers. Those who deny torture even took place.

In the second group are the ones who raise the standards for what constitutes torture. To these people, what used to be considered torture when done by those not of their kind is not considered torture when it is done by those of their kind. Thus waterboarding, slapping, and beating were torture when foreigners did it, and was prosecuted as torture, but is not torture when our guys do it.

In the third group are those who attempt to downplay or minimize the harm done by torture when it is done by our guys. If the same torture was done to an American, their outrage would be through the roof. But when the torture is done to a vilified enemy, then no harm no foul.

As you read the umpteen topics about the torture report, you will see these three types of apologists leaping out at you quite starkly.

People wonder how the German people were able to slide into madness so easily. Well, just take a look at the torture apologists you are seeing today and you will no longer wonder. The exact same phenomenon has been occurring in the United States since 9/11. Thus the Charles Mackay quote in my sig.

In the fourth group are those who pretend to be above the fray while enjoying the benefits conferred on them by others.

Torture never took place.

Although educating you is hardly possible, as the eternal optimist I provide an example of 'torture.'

From “Magnifico: The Brilliant Life and Violent Times of Lorenzo De Medici,” by Miles Unger, p. 227-228.

"An incident recorded by the diarist Luca Landucci vividly illustrated the dangers awaiting those who threatened bodily harm to the leading citizens of the regime:

27th September [1481]. A certain hermit came to the house of Lorenzo de’ Medici at the Poggio a Caiano; and the servants declared that he intended to murder Lorenzo, so they took him and sent him to the Bargello, and he was put to the rack.

15th October. This hermit died at Santa Maria Novella, having been tortured in various ways. It was said that they skinned the soles of his feet, and then burnt them by holding them in the fire till the fat dripped off them; after which they set him upright and made him walk across the hall; and these things caused his death. Opinions were divided as to whether he were guilty or innocent."

Stop being led around by the ring in your nose, dope.

Good to see that you are mulling over the education that I've provided.

I sense that from your silence.

And....silence suits you.

You are doing a fantastic job of demonstrating exactly what I explained about Nazi wannabes. Torture apologists. Thanks very much for cooperating.

Now if you could just write a post downplaying the harm done by the torture committed by the US, this topic will be complete.

I understand you are dying to swear fealty to the forces of evil, the Liberals, and, as such, require no education, knowledge, or insight, other than muttering "Yes, master!"

But, for my guilty pleasure, would you state what you consider torture, and compare it to the example I gave from "Magnifico."

Do so, so that I may rip you a new one.
