Lost my dad yesterday (5/30).

Yep. Death sucks. I just lost a friend to pancreatic cancer last night. He lived about a year past what the docs expected he would.

He was a man who found spirituality late in life, and he will be missed by a lot of people. I will miss my conversations with him.

It was a humbling and wonderful experience to walk his last miles with him.

I lost my final grandparent (my mom's mother) on April 10th, I lost a family friend on April 30th, and I lost an aunt on May 2nd which is my mom's birthday. It hasn't even been a year yet since I lost a cousin last year on June 7th.
