The artist who came up with that ape to human progression drawing has himself said it was faked and he deliberately made the extinct species of apes look a lot closer to human appearances than the bones themselves would indicate. There are 'links' portrayed that don't exist in the fossil record in that drawing as well. Same with all the other drawings of dinosaurs, pulled completely out of the artists' asses.

Unlike all those photographs of Jesus that prove he's a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, Middle Easterner.
