Well I don't have your apparent exclusive pipeline to God or the hereafter I guess. But I'll stick with what I know. And if I and millions of others are the most in trouble so be it. I haven't seen that in evidence but who knows. You may be more wise and brilliant than any of us.

Religion is largely follow the leader with blindfolds on. There is no penalty for misguided beliefs , they simply don't further your progress.

Just finished reading the book " Dangerous Illusions " by Vitally Malkin. It is sure to become the definitive book on how religion has lead the human race on this planet to such a dismal place. Religious or not , it's an excellent and informative read.

Did he compare that place to the place the atheistic nations of the 20th century took it?

Let's see , first of all , the Creator Entity somehow has a special relationship with the human beings on this planet alone while it ignores the rest of the Universe it created.

God gives reality to the universe, and makes it not merely a hypothetical or possible universe, but an actually existing universe. He does not supply energy, as a match does to an explosive, he supplies reality. God supplies this reality equally to every part of the universe — all events at all times and places.

So no, God does not ignore anything.
