Could Elizabeth Warren beat Hillary Clinton?

Just another example of the distortions that the left likes to practice. Everyone knows exactly what he said and what he meant, and yet the left with their media minions twisted it into some ridiculous BS. They did the same when they misquoted him when he said that he was concerned about security at the Olympics, when he said that he likes to be able to fire folks that aren't doing their jobs, and his comment on the 47% who don't pay taxes. Hillary and Obama are both compulsive liars and perpetual fuckups, yet you people actually trust them more than any Republican. I can't even believe you asshats are bragging about Hillary fucken Clinton being your best candidate. It's too funny.

Guy, I voted for Bush twice. At the end of it, I had an underwater mortgage and a busted 401K. That's why I don't trust the Republicans.

Yes, I know EXACTLY what Romney meant with his 47% comments. He was wrong, he was quoting inaccurate figures. But what it showed was his attitude. THe people he was talking to were folks who paid $50,000 for a plate- more than your average American makes in a year. He came off like a clueless rich guy who just simply has no idea of what it is like to balance a checkbook and hoping the car doesn't crap out or no one gets cancer.

How do you define "qualified" beyond pigmentation? Because your side apparently thought Sarah Palin was qualified to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency with no real qualifications other than being governor of a sparsely state for less than two years.

Romney was a one-term governor who quit before he could be fired.

Qualified, my ass.

He's more qualified than Obama or Hillary.

At least she had leadership experience.

Besides, how much more qualified must one beto be VP?

He was talking about the facts that even Democrats know but never have the stones to admit. There are people out there that will vote for Jack The Ripper as long as he promises them the world, or to lower sea levels and such...

+1.

What I really don't understand is how the GOP -- so proud of Reagan's term, so hoping for another person and candidate just like him -- completely misses what made him attractive to so many voters: A constant, never-ending, clear-as-a-bell message of strength and positivity.

Instead, all we get is flawed claims of Marxism, communism and socialism, birth certificates, name-calling and attacks on people in their own party.

Inexplicable.

.

Reagan was a great salesman, I'll give him that. Not that I bought what he was selling.

Riiiiiiiiiight.

Well, first, he got his facts wrong.

Who doesn’t pay taxes, in eight charts - The Washington Post

Second, the way he went about saying it was kind of stupid, because it sounded like he was putting down the poor, retirees, and working folks who still pay a payroll tax even if they don't pay income taxes.

Third, if he had "Stones", why didn't he talk that smack out in public at public rallies? Nope, he said it in front of a bunch of his fellow rich douchebags not realizing that working folks were cleaning up those $50,000 plates.

Yup, like Obama never does that ever......

Guess you never heard of a fundraiser before....dumbass

Romney's mistake was in grossly overestimating the percentage of the American people who are locked in to the Democratic vote. Someone needs to explain to him and the GOP just how many swing voters there really are.

Paging the ghost of Ronald Reagan...

If Romney and the GOP knew how many swing voters there are, they would stop pandering to the retards and bigots in their party in a heartbeat. They don't need the retard/bigot vote if they win the swing votes.

Romney also succumbed to the idiotic belief that people vote Democratic "because gifts". Worse, after the election he parroted that belief, out loud, like a sore loser.

But...but...but... Oooooobama!!!!!

Okay, trying to take this seriously, but why not address the question. If what Romney said was such a fundamental truth, why was it NOT the centerpiece of his campaign?

Well, first, it was wrong.
Second, it was really just a lot of insensitive rich guy talk.

You see, "47%" wasn't even the worst thing he said. I thought his bragging about how awesome it was that he owned this factory in China where women were living 120 to one toilet and they needed barbed wire to keep other women out.

And for some reason, he didn't think that American workers would think that was as cool as he did.

Not to worry, I'm sure you find something about "Clinging to guns and bibles"

I'm looking for Obama to replace Ruth Bader Ginsberg with Elizabeth Warren on the Supreme Court

Frees up a path for Hillary and allows Warren to torture Conservatives for the rest of her life
Awesome thought, it never occurred to me. She'd be great there, too.
