If you do this, and I do think it is an excellent thing to do, be sure to check the compatability of the injection system in your particular diesel with the kind of oil you are using.

I hope it is not too cold there. Issues with biofuel gelling in cold weather.

I convert crude oil into cooking oil.
    Tasty.

    Multiple benefits of biodiesel...

Company Takes Biodiesel From Field to Fryer to Fuel
August 27, 2011 - In the worldwide search for alternative energy sources, vegetable oil is becoming an increasingly popular substitute for crude oil. Diesel-engine fuel can be made easily from soybean, canola or other oils commonly found in the kitchen. But just a 90-minute drive from Washington, DC, one company is working to take canola from the field to the fryer to the fuel tank, and do it all locally. And company executives say it's a system that could work anywhere in the world. VOA's Steve Baragona has more.

Imagine the smell of the exhaust fumes?
Do you get hordes of large people chasing you down the street?

One must be careful with biodiesel.

A good friend of mine is a diesel mechanic and he makes a lot of money off of people who brew their own biodiesel fixing their gummed up fuel lines and filters.

How much per gallon did that vegetable oil cost you in the first place?
