I'm still trying to read the tea leaves on this one. First and foremost, am fairly certain that it was a last gasp attempt to get Donald to pay his legal bills and/or provide a pardon.

But a pardon won't make a bit of difference. He's still going to have to testify under oath and the pardon takes away his 5th amendment privileges. He can also be tried on a state level.

Honestly though, he's finally come to the realization that loyalty with Trump is a one way street. And Cohen is tired of the abuse.

He'll sing - take it to the bank.
