Texas 'clock kid' Ahmed Mohamed to move with family to Qatar, father says

DALLAS – A 14-year-old Muslim boy who was arrested after a homemade clock he brought to school was mistaken for a possible bomb will be moving with his family to the Middle East so he can attend school there, his family said Tuesday.
Ahmed Mohamed's family released a statement saying they had accepted a foundation's offer to pay for his high school and college in Doha, Qatar. He recently visited the country as part of a whirlwind month that included a Monday stop at the White House and an appearance Tuesday at the U.S. Capitol.
"We are going to move to a place where my kids can study and learn, and all of them being accepted by that country," Ahmed's father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, told The Dallas Morning News before boarding an airplane from Washington back home to Texas on Tuesday.

He is going to be surrounded by terrorist sponsors living in a state that sponsors it. LMAO
Way to show em'!

Now he wants to come back...

‘Clock Boy’ Misses US
November 25, 2015: A teenager who was arrested after taking a homemade clock to school in the Dallas, Texas area says he misses the United States and would like to eventually return.
Ahmed Mohamed, known as “clock boy,” is now living in Qatar. Commenting in a recent interview with Dallas television station KTVT, Mohamed said he would like to come back to Irving, a Dallas suburb, to see the "people I grew up with." Mohamed, who is of Sudanese descent, sparked a firestorm after being handcuffed and arrested earlier this year when a digital clock he made caused suburban Dallas school officials to call police thinking it was a bomb. His arrest set off protests, with people saying he had been arrested because he is Muslim.

All we are saying, is give peace a chance

Charges against Mohamed were never filed. The outcry led to U.S. President Barack Obama inviting Mohamed to the White House. Mohamed also received praise from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Additionally, Mohamed met Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir last month at the presidential compound in Khartoum, according to Sudanese radio.

In the wake of the controversy, Mohamed’s family allegedly received threats and moved to Qatar, where he says he feels safe. The family is demanding $15 million from the city of Irving and school district as well as a written apology and has threatened lawsuits. The city said it is reviewing a letter from the family's attorneys and had no comment. When the controversy erupted, local school authorities said that in the wake of mass killings at schools across the country, they had to take every potential threat seriously.

Ah. Left a civilized nation to go spend time in a Muslim state sponsor of terror. Now....wants to come back.

How many jihadis have followed the same format. Leave. Go get training. Come back. Put a jihad on everyone.

Family of Muslim teenager arrested over clock files lawsuit
8/08/2016 - The family of a Muslim boy who was arrested after bringing a homemade clock to school has sued Texas school officials, saying they violated the 14-year-old boy's civil rights.
The lawsuit was filed on Monday on behalf of Ahmed Mohamed. The teenager was arrested at his Dallas high school in September and charged with having a hoax bomb. He says he brought the homemade clock to school to show his teacher. The charge was later dropped, but he was still suspended.

The lawsuit names Irving Independent School District, the city of Irving and the school's principal. A district spokeswoman says the district would release a statement later. The family has since moved to Qatar, citing threats and a scholarship offered to Ahmed in the Persian Gulf country.
