It's because the law didn't stand and Disney can legally answer back. If the law had stood, DeSantis could have legally shut them up.

We live in increasingly dangerous situation where the weaker control the stronger. There is a lot of cross ways of living involved also. So, you can have an individual firefighter in Reedy Creek who did nothing for 20 years promoted as a hero over someone who cleaned toilets in the Disney properties and protected tourists many times as needed who gets no word of an atta boy.
