We've got a small tree made with fiber optics ($15 at KMart). We can't have a tall tree because the cats will climb it and knock it over.

ROTFL! Gotta love the LOL cats. Course, squirrels have their place too you know.

Willow, nice thread . . . thanks for starting it. I love Christmas too. We had to switch to an artificial tree a few years back as my oldest developed asthma. While I love the picking out of the real tree and the smell and all, gotta say the set up and clean up of the faux thing makes it easy.

My mom gave me the Nativity set we had when I was a kid. She must have gotten it when they were first married cause it's like 50 years old. We always set it up under the tree when I was little. I remember my brother playing with his GI Joes and all the Nativity figures. His own little 'war on Christmas' perhaps? lol No wonder the poor camels have tape all over their legs!

I kept my Xmas tree up from last year

Saves me the trouble of putting it up this year.

All I have to do is plug it in and Bob's your uncle I am bathed in yuletide cheer.
