Seems to me that it's perfectly reasonable to be concerned about the health of an obese person, especially one who wants to reside in the White House. He has to take a considerable amount of weight off. This is the most important gig on the planet.

Okay, trying to take this seriously, if Romney wins (C'Thulhu Help Us) Christy is likely to be the first victim of an anti-GOP Backlash in 2013. At that point, his career's over. So really his only chance to have any future ambitions is if the Weird Mormon Robot loses.

He might get a second term, but frankly, he's been a red governor in a blue state, so probably not.

I think the underlying problem with Christy is that he appeals to the Talk Radio set. He picks the fights with their familiar bogeymen, especially the unions. But beyond that, what is his appeal.

Reducing his caloric intake and increasing his caloric output will certainly show results in better health and fitness ... but he has to actually do that in order for it to work.
