China erects 30 story hotel in 15 days

Everything that China built in its drive of development doesn't have to shy away from America's infrastructure. I bet it's even better.

Posting a picture of a crashed train is just serving cliches.

That's the terrace.

Way to throw in some ignorant nonsense with racial undertones, asshole.

The "look how fast we can do it!" train kills the few who can afford to ride it, but the truly advanced high speed rail system in Japan survives the worst earthquake in 1000 years without loss of life.

As for the US, high speed rail is not for us - not for now.

See what's possible with no unions and no bureaucracies......

So you want to be more like the China?

I don't want to see the USA be more like China, if being more like China means erecting hotels as ugly as the one that China erected in 15 days. Several office buildings are currently being erected in Baltimore. It's taking them a heck of a lot longer to construct them than 15 days, but the building's architectural designs incorporate complex utilizations of glass, concrete, and steel. It would be impossible to construct buildings such as these utilizing uniform standardized prefabricated modules, as the Chinese utilized with their rapidly erected hotel.

You don't do any kind of business in China without bribing somebody.
