Actually, this is kind of a non-issue. The number of border crossers has been cut by a third since the 1990's, and the number of undocumented migrants capped at 12 million in 2009 and has been in decline since, all without a wall.

When have American children ever accompanied their parents/guardians into jails ? When Americans are sent to jail, they go alone, not with their kids.
