Desperate Tesla owners in and around Chicago were seen trying to charge their vehicles with no luck amid frigid temperatures that have gripped the Midwest.

Charging stations have essentially turned into car graveyards in recent days as temperatures have dropped to the negative double digits, Fox Chicago reported.

"Nothing. No juice. Still on zero percent," Tyler Beard, who had been trying to recharge his Tesla at an Oak Brook, Illinois Tesla supercharging station since Sunday afternoon, told the news outlet. "And this is like three hours being out here after being out here three hours yesterday."

We told those dumbasses, these things were not for everyone. LMAO

Want to talk about a mandate? It should be mandated that all EV cars be hybrids so that it can also run on gas alone. EVs are great but they are unique in requirements.

I had a hybrid truck, the mpg was worse than the same motor without the hybrid. The electric motor had a belt pulling power from the gas motor. I don't ever won't another one. I have a twin turbo 3.5 truck now that out performs both of those previous truck getting 4 mpg better and still pulls 14k pounds

Not really. ICE cars won't start with a battery that won't take a charge also. Hybrids won't start with a battery that won't take a charge.

Reminds me of the folks in Texas who froze to death because they depended on wind power that stopped working.

Will people ever learn? Nope.

Buy more body bags folks

Badger's ebike battery goes inside to charge, the etrike has a heated compartment and a solar panel that charges while in motion. Sub-zero temperatures don't phase it in the least. Auto industry's stupidity will have to adjust to modular batteries.

This is an issue with the Super chargers. It doesn't appear to be a problem with standard chargers.

This bulemia of superchargers resonates with why the solar-etrike does not use pass-through charging but charges a second on-board battery which the etrike charger will then plug into. The battery moving the vehicle does not get charged.

An e-bike in subzero temps? Who rides a bike in sub zero temps?

What is the fantasy for these left wing loons? They hate conflict diamonds but are more than happy to have children in lithium mines for their EVs…….leftists are just nuts.

Entitled minority has a right to your personal charger. This is hilarious, but I'd just call the cops
