I understand this decision, but there is a part of me that finds this offensive as well. You make all your money in a state and then when it's inconvenient for you, you pack up and leave.

California has been getting rid of the cons for decades. This is the result. San Francisco stopped prosecution and removal for quality of life infractions like shitting on the sidewalk. The result is tons of feces on the sidewalks. The city stopped prosecution of drug crimes and released hundreds of drug offenders. Thr result is BART stations becoming drug dens.

This is the San Francisco model for the rest of California. The wealthy never sees the city they made. They pat themselves on the back and talk about what a good, progressive, job they are doing.
