Cairo in Madison, Wisconson

They were learning the working of democracy in situ.
What if they were supposed to be learn reading and math, dickweed?

It certainly wasn't History...(or at least REAL history...not the revisionist horseshit taught by these same teachers)...that I see repeated by many of the leftists here on these boards that still belive the lies they were taught...that BIG GUBMINT=Good...RIGHTS =Parsed out by Central Gubmint...

Why yes, they did. One must do whatever one can to protect the rights of the American Citizens and workers.

Only in liberal loony land is being a chicken shit some sort of position of honor...

You mean like when General George Washington and his troops avoided military confrontation with the British red coats because they were out manned and out gunned and wanted to carefully pick their battles?

You don't think that the British thought that Washington was a coward for not facing them in battle?

He greatly helped to win that war so future generations could form a Republic, talk out our troubles and vote. Not so future leaders could employ battlefield tactics rather than face our State and national economic crisis by doing the work they were elected to do.

I didn't know you could hijack a person.
It's obvious that you don't know a lot of things.

What were the kids doing at city hall, when they should've been in class?

Who speaks for the parent, when a gubmint school teacher uses their kid as a political prop?

Who would have borne the r-r-r-r-responsibility had any of the kids had come to harm?

I think those kids were essentially on a real life field trip that gave them a lesson about democracy (with both a small d and large D) and the democratic process which will resonate with them far more than any textbook ever could.

So the Dems turning tail and running away from the vote is teaching them what?

Those kids got a lesson in how to run away from your problems...

Which seems to be the philosophy of many a lib....

How does marching on the state capitol equate with running away from one's problems?

The dem state leaders ran away, dummy.....

They denied the GOP the necessary quorum call which was required in order to pass the legislation. That tactic gave the citizens of Madison the opportunity to express their constitutionally protected right to publicly protest the proposed legislation and get news coverage of their peaceful protest.

It's people power, baby!!!
