After all those months of delay, Bush finally had visited Korea for his last office term.

Though it was very disturbing to see those anti-U.S demonstraters crashing with policemen(personally, I ain't no Bush supporter nor hater but why should Koreans be fighting over each other which would make no changes), I could see progress between U.S-Korea relationship in terms of beef import, free trade and most importantly, territorial disputes.

I can see that Koreans are eager to emphasize this issue when I found out when Lee, president of Korea, pointed out Tokdo Island on a map, saying "This is Tokdo Island" and Bush replied "I know Tokdo Island."

Since Bush haven't gotten much time left, now it depends on who might be sitting in the White House.

Do I interpret you correctly in thinking that you're implying that the anti-U.S. protesters were opposed to the Bush administration in particular, rather than to, say, the U.S. military presence in south Korea?
