BREAKING news on Newt!!

Surely, you are being sarcastic. This lynching of Newts nearly flawless character is clear evidence that Obama intends to force Newt into admitting to some crime that he never committed. Damn, you libs are blind!

What?

Surely you have heard how crappily he's treated his wives.

"crappily"?!?
:eusa_think:
Is that even a word?

You may want to take a gander at my sig line.

so yeah, it's like a verb and stuff, to me.

How far off can a person be? We want Newt to run, Obama will beat him easily. If we fear anyone, it is Romney.

Surely, you are being sarcastic. This lynching of Newts nearly flawless character is clear evidence that Obama intends to force Newt into admitting to some crime that he never committed. Damn, you libs are blind!

No, you conservatives are paranoid, blaming Obama for this. Get a life.

Who should we blame? Boooooooooosh? Play a new record, will ya?

Kind of like the Republican Party being the political branch of FOX News.

Of the 20 major media outlets studied, 18 scored left of center, with CBS' "Evening News," The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times ranking second, third and fourth most liberal behind the news pages of The Wall Street Journal.

Only Fox News' "Special Report With Brit Hume" and The Washington Times scored right of the average U.S. voter.

The most centrist outlet proved to be the "NewsHour With Jim Lehrer." CNN's "NewsNight With Aaron Brown" and ABC's "Good Morning America" were a close second and third.

"Our estimates for these outlets, we feel, give particular credibility to our efforts, as three of the four moderators for the 2004 presidential and vice-presidential debates came from these three news outlets — Jim Lehrer, Charlie Gibson and Gwen Ifill," Groseclose said. "If these newscasters weren't centrist, staffers for one of the campaign teams would have objected and insisted on other moderators."

The fourth most centrist outlet was "Special Report With Brit Hume" on Fox News, which often is cited by liberals as an egregious example of a right-wing outlet. While this news program proved to be right of center, the study found ABC's "World News Tonight" and NBC's "Nightly News" to be left of center. All three outlets were approximately equidistant from the center, the report found.

"If viewers spent an equal amount of time watching Fox's 'Special Report' as ABC's 'World News' and NBC's 'Nightly News,' then they would receive a nearly perfectly balanced version of the news," said Milyo, an associate professor of economics and public affairs at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Because yahoo is a leftwing organization that is in the pocket of the progressives who are run by George Soros and the empty suit Obama! Duh!

The Obama administration is clearly afraid of Newt. He is the last person that they want to run against as he will destroy Obama AND his telprompters in a debate!

If either of you really think that, which is unlikely as libs tend to not think in elections but simply take marching orders from the DNC, then you are blind and stupid.

The Romney camp is pulling all its favors in, bargaining for every donation it can get in order to head Gingrich off. If this isnt apparent then you are beyond remedy.

Right now the WH is aware that Gingriches polls against Obama are weaker mostly due to Gingriches bad PR he got from the Federal government shut down he was blamed for back in the mid 90s. But once he gets into even one debate with Obama, the public will see a very different Newt than the one the media has invented. And that will bring Newt way up in the polls.

Right now the WH is not pulling for anyone, except maybe Ron Paul, but they are taking notes, no doubt.

As a historian, Gingrich is interested in the past and this simply is a discussion of the past. Not sure why we must neglect the history of our republican candidates but Obama's birth is still of interest to the wingnuts? Seems there's the hypocrisy, and Yahoo is boring and just another corporate tool imho. More of the past, aka history, below.

"magine, if you will, a man who, as Speaker of the House, orchestrates the impeachment of a President for an adulterous affair with a White House aide twenty-six years his junior while he himself is conducting an adulterous affair with a congressional aide twenty-two years his junior, having earlier left the first of his three wives while she was hospitalized with cancer. Imagine a man who attributes these behaviors to “how passionately I felt about this country.” Imagine a man who, told he can’t sit in a front section of Air Force One, shuts down the government. Imagine a man who becomes the only House Speaker ever to be disciplined for ethics violations. Imagine a man who, in a country just staggering out of the worst recession of the past fifty years and facing the threat of worldwide economic collapse, proposes to hire small children to work as janitors, mopping floors and cleaning toilets in their schools (or their orphanages, perhaps). Imagine that man as Commander-in-Chief. It’s no stretch for him. His fantasy life is so rich that he has already compared himself to Abraham Lincoln, Charles de Gaulle, Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan, and (for sheer perseverance) Ho Chi Minh. The providential self-destruction of the three previous non-Mitt Romney front-runners, Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Herman Cain, will have done nothing to diminish his sense of himself as a man of destiny." I will try again. The more educated a person is, the more chance that they will be a liberal, check the average grade attended by the population of the red states against the population of the blue states, and the blue states win hands down. People in the media are educated people, so they tend to be more liberal.

It wasn't news in 97. So it's bullshit to bring up non-news now.

You know as well as I do that people will read that headline and just assume it's new and true w/o reading the story.

Since we are still in the primary season, are we to assume that you think GOP primary voters only read headlines? With friends like you, who needs enemies?

Yeah, except Clinton wasn't impeached for having an adulterous affair.

More left wing lies.

Does it hurt to be proven wrong?

I've been saying this for quite a while now. Most claim bias based on the op-eds or talking head portions which they incorrectly label as "news", not on the actual story content as reported by the dedicated news segments.

I can't see a valid reason to run this story at all.

I can. It will sell. It will make Yahoo money.

That leaves me with no other conclusion than they intentionally want to harm Newts reputation as an honest man.

Actually, your own bias leaves you with no other conclusion. Strip that away and the conclusion is clear: Yahoo is doing what they believe will make them money.

The guys a first class douche bag, but not a criminal.

Nobody cares. In the words of Jerry McGuire, "SHOW ME THE MONEY!"
