I love you Americans. As much as some complain that your government doesn't work hard, I guarantee you would NEVER see a 1 am vote and the Canadian government officials NEVER work weekends, unless WW3 is on our doorsteps.

They announced this morning about the 1AM vote.

Now McConnell said it could come earlier but there is some
procedure that Schumer is blocking for that to happen.

It's probably the best time to have it. Especially if the Dems
are gonna cave.

Less immediate shock for their far left base.

Now I like that McConnell is having these votes. As mentioned
in another thread...the Dems in danger in November (In the Senate)
must keep voting to open the government.

McConnell should vote tonight and tomorrow. Then, he needs to move
the bar to 51 and dare those Dems not to vote for it again.

Schumer is playing politics with their vote and so are they. With a threshold
of 60, they all know it will fail...thus Schumer will allow them to vote
to keep the Govt open for their Senate Campaigns in the fall.

If the threshold switches to 51, then if they switch, the GOP just picked
up 5 Senate Seats in November. They will all have exposed themselves.

Just keep voting and continue to let the people see them voting against the
Country. Their lame blame game will lose steam when the average person
asks..."How can it be the fault of the GOP when you are voting against it?
