BREAKING: Congress votes UNANIMOUSLY against Obama…

Na, he will just write an Executive Order to remove the House and Senate.
Over priced [private clubhouse...

Well it's not like they do anything anyway.
The only reason they spend anytime in Washington is for the free booze...

Soon they will be doing heroin.

You know, booze is one of those gateway drugs. Then they will use tax payer money for narcan drips.
Well they stopped making dimerol...

Who knows, maybe they will get so drunk they will accidentally give some of our hard earned money back

If they fall down face down and drown in their puke it's an added bonus

So if countries start suing instead of fighting wars, where will that lead us?

The whole world will be like living in the US.

Maybe we should elect a business leader who is familiar with litigating his way through life rather than a lawyer or politician to be POTUS then? :eusa_think:

Hardly hookers and blow ain't cheap...

We DON'T want to open this door.

I believe they opened the door when they knocked down our buildings on 9/11, agree? Fifteen of those hijackers were from Saudi Arabia.
Lawsuits are a funny thing, as long as someone can make a case, they can sue and likely win.

Should Doctors Without Borders sue us for the stray ordinance that destroyed the hospital they were operating out of?

Who, oh who will be first to LEAP at the chance to go after our deep pockets?

This is a HUGE mistake. Obama was right on this.

I disagree. I think this is wonderful.

Let's just dissolve all governments, get rid of all the monopolies on violence, and start using he courts.

Will you gladly donate your property when he builds a federal casino?

Casino?

No doubt that Indian Elizabeth Warren will run it.

My brain is gone?

Exactly when did I say I was voting for Hillary?

He probably never heard of Imminent domain.

Nobody has.

Duh.

However, imminent domain STILL needs to go through the court silly.

Nobody would want my shitty piece of land, especially Trump. Even if he did, the nearby Indians would sue his ass off and probably win. The State government would join suit, as would the people of the State b/c they don't want to many Casino's to saturate the area.

I'm sure it's a nice thought though. I'm willingly to see that settled in court. He would be taking on so many plaintiffs against him, it just wouldn't make any sense to sue for imminent domain for such a shitty spot when a Casino is 25 miles away already. It's just not good business. And anywhere that it is, according to laws, more must be proffered than the value of the land. Again, I'm fine with that.

Nice try though.

Are you just toying with an old man, going along with his imminent domain thing as if it were real?

I think he meant me. Anyone that wants to organize a society without the use of force and violence is usually seen as crazy. If they are powerful people and seen as influential, the elites generally have them assassinated or their voices silenced. It is the way of humanity.

Humans, by biological instinct, cultural and physiological imperative are hardwired against freedom. They love hierarchies, being told how to think and how to order their lives. Real freedom scares the living shit out of them.

Anyone that suggests an alternate solution to the madness we repeat, Age after Age, millennia after successive millennia, must have lost their brain.

However, I agree, anyone that is bothering to vote must be bored. It won't make a lick of difference toward the future of the nation.

No, seriously. Why should I give a shit?

Of course bureaucrats will try to stiff ya. Lawyer up! It's better than solving things through violence!

Should I receive extra compensation if the government’s eminent domain acquisition causes my remaining property to become nonconforming with zoning ordinances, e.g. set back requirements, lot coverage ratios, parking requirements, etc.?
Absolutely. These circumstances are examples of severance that require compensation beyond the value of the property actually taken through eminent domain. Owners should beware, though, because, while the government may recognize these items as severance, it will frequently understate the level of damages resulting from severance.

Will changes in access to my property result in extra compensation to me under the eminent domain rules?
Yes it can. Access to property is an integral part of the rights of property ownership. When access is adversely changed in a significant way or lost because of eminent domain, the owner’s ability to use the property is restricted. This restriction requires payment from the government.

Wouldn't it be nice if all parties in the Syrian conflict would just agree to Binding Arbitration?

Of course, the US won't do that, because they feel they have the better bargaining position. (i.e., more money, more weapons, and more spooks.)
