Bill Maher Gets Owned

Another example of the idiot liberal dumbocrat at their absolute dumbest.

On one hand, the idiot liberal dumbocrat cries a river for the "hungry". On the other hand, the idiot liberal dumbocrat burns the world's food supply to "save" the Earth.

God, these people are so fucking ignorant, it's actually painful to just hear them spew their stupidity. I actually feel physical pain listening to people so fucking stupid, that they burn the world's food supply while crying about people being hungry.

At least they're using sugar cane (not a requirement in any diet, and damaging to many) instead of FEED GRAIN like we are, making it more expensive to feed every type of livestock, and for that livestock to be more expensive to the consumer.

Better if everyone switched to using hemp for ethanol. Less turnaround time between crops, and MUCH lower ecologic impact in processing.

But hell, we couldn't admit Hearst was a racist, or that the followers of Ayn Rand were closet trade protectionists. :eusa_whistle:

Shhhh. Republicans think white sugar IS the worlds "food supply".

RDeanie, you know it is unwise to put your own image up in your own post.:badgrin::badgrin:

Eh?

Brazil... Population: 196 million. Uses about 2.5 billion barrels a day of oil
United States: 310 billion. Uses about 18.5 billion barrels a day of oil

Now... that's just quick numbers. It could very well be true that Bill Maher was "owned" as it were. But just saying it and looking at the general numbers suggests that whatever Brazil is doing is... Working. o.0
all those figures should be millions, not billions. But yes - Brazil is doing a lot of things right. Their politicians put the country ahead of their individual parties, and they do not deny science.

Idiots like you deny science. RWs believe in HARD science, liberals think soft science should have the same respcet....NO

He wasn't owned. Maher is right. They burn significantly less oil then most industrialized nations. They also have charging facilities at gas stations for electric cars. It's crazy. They are besting us in green tech.

George Will owned him, shallow... 65% of that country is the Amazon Jungle. Highways are almost non-existant there and not much better in eastern Brazil except up and down the Atlantic coast. But go ahead and defend that little lying shit.

If you're a socialist, yes, you would feel that way towards me, and to be honest.....I'm proud of that. The question isn't where it should be spent any longer, that ship has left the port. You wanting to take this great nation down I find to be reprehensible. Sixteen trillion in debt and counting? Several states leaning toward bankruptcies.....and there you are wanting more, and wanting my money to do it. I don't mind paying for my fair share, but, I don't want to pay for your fair share either.

Fuck you. Your money, for the most of it, is paid to the military industrial complex and corporate welfare. The infinitesimal amount spent on programs for the poor amounts to what is taken from the general fund for pizza.

Another poster, earlier, said that when there is no valid argument left, the loser has to resort to advise the winner to move somewhere else. (Or words to that effect).

The better and absolutely foolproof measure of a loser is when he/she starts using vulgar profanities.

When it comes to being a loser, Barb, you are a winner!

You disapprove?

how will I ever get over it?

65% of this country is the great plains.. Not sure what your point is here, exactly.

Now, there is a point that Brazil, the average Brazilian doesn't own a car compared to the average American. However, they have also made great strides in developing ethanol, not the least of which is that they make it from Sugar cane, which is vastly more efficient than making it from corn. (Of course, the same can be said for Sugar, but we have to subsidize and coddle the corn industry at every turn in this country.)

This is the problem with American Plutocracy in general. Big Oil (Exxon, etc.) and big Agriculture (ADM, etc) own our politicians, so that instead of doing what we should have done back in the 1970's when OPEC screwed us after the Yom Kippur War, we didn't convert to renewables.

We half-assed did corn ethanol, which became a big government boondoggle. We didn't insist on millage standards. We didn't invest in public transportation.

While the rest of the world was going to rehab, we kept ourselves hooked up. And even fought a few wars to keep the supply going.
