Biden says coal plants 'all across America' will be shut down, replaced with wind and solar at cost of $4,582.24 /month/Household or $67.9 Trillion!

Biden argued that it's 'cheaper' to generate electricity from wind and solar than it is from coal

President Biden said Friday that coal plants are too expensive to operate, and "we're going to be shutting these plants down all across America" in order to shift to wind power in a comment that drew criticism from the Republican National Committee.
Is it cheaper?
Couple of questions for Joe...
What happens at wind turbine power plants when there is no wind?
Note the picture... has the people going with a fossil fuel engine TO DEPEND ON.

Solar panels require sunlight to generate electricity for your home, so they do not produce electricity during the dark hours. Thus, the simple answer to the question is no. The concept of solar power working at night centers around backup batteries.

Now for the final question JOE...
So I'm going to shout because this is so important:
There are 123,600,000 total households in the USA.
Who will pay the $67,963,741,588,588 (that's $67.9 TRILLION) to replace all power plants with wind while converting to All EVs.
A total of 14,316,200,439,575 kWh per year including the current 4,165,030,000,000 kWh generated by the 11,070 power plants.
$54,986.85 per year per American household to pay for what Biden wants!

The world is already in economic chaos, and now democrats want to spend another $100 trillion on fighting the air

Who will fight the democrats?

Who would be so out of touch with what every day Americans are going through with the cost of energy...gas for their cars...heating oil for their homes...diesel for the trucks that deliver everything...electricity to light their homes...that he would think shutting down the cheapest way to produce electricity was something to BRAG about?

Is Biden really this stupid?
Biden is just reading what is in front of him. He is reading what the Chinacrats are writing for him. They continue attacking our fossil fuel industry which is threatening our economic and national security. Meanwhile China is expanding their fossil fuel industry.

IMHO, Joe Biden is mentally damaged. What comes out of his mouth is pretty much always not what he was supposed to say, and I don't believe he realizes what he says is incorrect. And the WH people have to walk back most of what he says, which makes it obvious that he's not mentally able to do the job. This man ought to be in a home somewhere being cared for; the presidency is way beyond his capabilities but the democrats will not force him out for political reasons until after the elections. But I do think he makes the DP look bad and there's a good chance they'll ask him to resign for health reasons, which actually is true.

He doesn't have a clue what's he's doing but the deviants in the background do.

I seriously don't think anyone in Biden's "inner circle" has any background in business or economics! They just don't seem to grasp how businesses work.

I agree. They don't have a clue of how to solve anything. All they do is parrot green green green without knowing the immense damage that is being caused environmentally and economically.

Right!
FACT is fossil fuels, i.e. oil is used to make tires, asphalt and thousands of other items.
For example... Asphalt:
what will replace oil that in making asphalt, 1.312 billion barrels a year in oil is used?

or tires:
According to the Rubber Manufacturers Association, it takes “approximately seven gallons” of oil to produce a single tire. That translates to approximately 5 billion gallons of crude oil (note: at today's price of $2 the total cost to tire makers over $10 billion a year) utilized to make tires each year.
Over the last three years tire prices have increased an average of 70%. In other words a tire that was $100 at the beginning of 2009 is probably listed around $170 today.

Sorry bout that,^ :clap2:

The entire green energy infrastructure has to go and what has been done unraveled.
Sorry bout that^ very intelligent post! :clap2:

1. The whole world can use, SUN energy, but,The Sun, will never replace oil on earth, it can lighten the load, on fossil fuels, but never replace it.
2. Oil is the source, of the modern world.
3. Without oil, we ride horses.

There will come a day when oil will no longer power the world. It's not today. When that happens it will be organically and unforced. The same way the auto replaced the horse. Something better will come along.

Sorry bout that,^:disagree:

"there will come a day when oil will no longer power the world."
***Crazy Talk!***^

1. Oil shall never go away, the earth goes away, when oil does.
2. Only an idiot thinks the way you do.
3. Hey stupid, no oil, no auto.

Actually the auto replaced the horse because of market forces and not as Biden's Federal and WORLD government dictated. It was a more efficient way.
For example.. In 1894 the city of New York... manure capital of the world!
A quick calculation, we can estimate that each day in New York between two and four million lbs of equine excrement were "produced" every day, plus a 33 oz. of urine from each animal at least.
Horse refuse and the remains of dead horses littered the streets and provided a breeding ground for (by some estimates) billions of flies a day across the nation. These, in turn, spread diseases, elevating the problem from a nuisance to a public health crisis.
Which brings us to Biden's "I want you to look into my eyes, I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels”

And every household will need huge electric storage batteries as backup when wind and solar is not sufficient and those are biohazards in and of themselves.

The world runs on fossil fuels and it is both foolhardy and irresponsible to think we can phase those out in our lifetime. We have made huge strides to make water, soil, and air healthier for billions of people. But short sighted green energy fanatics will create such hardship and poverty that pollution will be the very least of anybody's concerns. And according to many solid scientific opinions, it will likely have negligible effect on climate change.

It is the most prosperous societies who have the luxury to demand great environments and aesthetic beauty. The poor put all their resources and energy into just having something to eat and maybe shelter over their heads.

Sorry bout that,

1. Oil will never go away.
2. There is nothing on earth, or off earth, to replace it.
3. We put that shit on, *EVERYTHING*!!!!
4. And learned how to make just about, *EVERTHING*, from it.
5. Are you a, total idiot?
6. Only total idiots, don't know this.

The insane thing is that the Progs will vote for this. And when the people rise up the Federal Internal Security Force of our now police state will put their jack boots on the necks of the citizens.

Fossil fuels are a gift. Cleaning it up is prudent. To many elitists in all ways and governments have interefered with this costing the consumers massive trillions of dollars and reduce potential greowth for amny more people to live better.
