This is probably the most correct and best thing Biden has done right his entire administration. He shouldn't even make an excuse.

The British ruling class are responsible for most of the ills in American society and for corrupting our nation. There is no reason to actually go to a coronation, Monarchism is abhorrent and an anathema to our culture and way of life.
