Biden Effect! HERE WE GO: Saudis to Cut Oil Production by 500,000 Barrels Per Day Until End of 2023

New Data: Biden’s First Year Drilling Permitting Stomps Trump’s By 34%

New federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658.

Nearly 2,000 of the drilling permits were approved on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management’s New Mexico office, followed by 843 in Wyoming, 285 in Montana and North Dakota, and 191 in Utah. In California, the Biden administration approved 187 permits — more than twice the 71 drilling permits Trump approved in that state in his first year.

How come Trump didn't make our troop reduction contingent on the Taliban honoring the 6 other commitments Trump negotiated, like he said he would? Why did he let the Taliban get away with not honoring those six conditions before he pulled out all those troops? What did he mean when he blurted out this jewel?

"How about that? Worse than Afghanistan, where, by the way, I started the process. All the troops are coming back home. They couldn’t stop the process.

Donald Trump: (22:53)
21 years is enough. Don’t we think? 21 years. They couldn’t stop the process. They wanted to, but it was very tough to stop the process when other things…yeah. Thank you. Thank you. It’s a shame. 21 years"

He made it as hard as possible for our military to get out without any casualties didn't he?
Biden did it by not honoring Trump's decision in the matter. Again, the truth.

Iran isn't 'under China's wing'. But if Iran conquered Saudi Arabia, China would be Iran's bitch.

Saudi Arabia needs someone to protect them - which is why we invaded Iraq.

Every Arab nation would love to control Mecca and Saudi oil.

Iran relies on China, China needs Iran. China lets countries do their own thing as long as they don't get in China's way (like supporting Taiwan), but Iran is still under China's wing, just differently to how the US does it.
Saudi Arabia needs protection, and China could easily offer that.

Try reading before you post.

The Saudi's and Iran restored diplomatic relations, not much more. They only broke off relations in 2016 - they were not very friendly before that. They're still long ways from trusting each other.

Tell me when the Saudi's tell all U.S. forces to leave the country - until then they remain dependent on the U.S> for security.

Nothing has changed except that China got al little prestige.

The Chinese can't project power across the Strait of Taiwan...how do you expect them to defend Saudi Arabia?

Do you really think that the Saudi's can trust China? Seriuosly, China would throw them under the bus in an instant if it suited them. (and letting the Iranians have Saudi Arabia would suit the Chinese fine).

Besides the House of Saud was put in power by the Western Allies - without the West the King wouldn't last a week. Don't count on China or Iran to give a crap about the Saudi Monarchy.

Yemen: An Emerging Pause or Just Covert War?

The U.S. drone war in Yemen may be entering a prolonged pause similar to the pause in Pakistan. The Biden administration did not include Yemen as “a declared theater of active armed conflict” when it released its assessment of civilian casualties in U.S. military strikes during 2021, a change from the report on civilian casualties in 2020.

The last U.S. strikes in Yemen recorded by New America occurred on November 14, 2021 – a pair of strikes reportedly in the border area between Shabwa and Al Bayda. However, the strikes may not have been conducted by the United States. U.S. Central Command denied carrying out the strikes. While such a statement does not rule out that it was a covert U.S. strike, other reports suggest that the strikes may have been carried out by the Saudi-led coalition.

If the November 2021 strikes were not carried out by the U.S., the last strikes recorded by New America occurred in 2020.

Imagine that, they're still further along than with your buddy Biden.

They project a hell of a lot of power across to Taiwan. What are you talking about?
How can they protect Saudi Arabia?

In the Cold War the US went to war in Korea, it went to war in Vietnam. It did NOT go to war with China. Why not? China was so weak, they got beaten by the Vietnamese in 1979, they were sending gunless soldiers screaming into battle in Korea.

But the US did not invade.
You think the US is going to risk war with China? Not a chance.

If China put troops in Saudi Arabia and said an invasion of Saudi Arabia would mean war with the US, the US would NOT FIGHT. Simple as.

The US won't go to war with Iran even. It tried, but Iran took the war to the US in Iraq way before....

In light of this explain why you are hostile to anything that lowers our dependence on dictator oil.
o_O Well, usually before you end such (oil dependence) in an economy literally built around it, you have something to first replace it with, at least prior to the current fascist democrat erected idiocracy that would have been considered standard operating procedure.....
