In forceful condemnation of Trump, Biden warns that MAGA backers pose grave threat to democracy
The speech, which was weeks in the planning, previews how Biden will navigate a tricky set of parameters that limit how frankly he can talk about Trump.www.nbcnews.com
Back when America passed the PA and created it's own HS gestapo there were many who lamented it all being aimed at the American public
1/4 century later, we've a career gub'mit incumbent labeling his constituency 'an extremist threat to democracy'
THEY are the 'threat' , not us

Always the false equivalencies when Trump has been shown to be deplorable.
You are fucked in the head, dude. That means that now, you are half-dead.
The half of you that is still alive is eighty-years old, so you'll probably be fully dead before very much longer.
He’s going to run on how awful racism is while leftists at Ivy League universities are screaming to genocide the Jews, and the presidents of the colleges refuse to say it is wrong.Biden announces national address on dangers of white supremacy on Jan 6 anniversary
Meh, fuck Joe Biden, his supporters, his administration
In a sane world, he would be living in a memory care unit at an Assisted Living Facility. In a sane world, Joe Biden would be irrelevant.
My concern is Biden's obvious cognitive decline. After the drugs wore off after yesterdays speech, he appears lost at the helo.
President Joe Biden, who has spent 37 percent of his 2023 year on vacation, will make sure to mark the coming anniversary of January 6, 2021 by stoking fears of white supremacy. He's been keeping this at the forefront of his rhetoric since he took office.
Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris intend to make fears over white supremacy and domestic terrorism—carried out by Americans, not by any potential cells that have crossed through the collapsed US-Mexico border—a centerpiece of their re-election campaign.
That fateful day when hundreds of Trump supporters were let into the Capitol Building by Capitol Police officers and then arrested for trespassing has been used by fearmongering Democrats to stoke racial animus against white people and Trump supporters. Trump leads Biden among Hispanic voters and young people, and his 12 percent support among black voters has not declined since 2020 despite Biden's carefully constructed rhetoric.
As soon as the building was cleared, Democrats began vilifying Trump supporters and claiming that they had staged a "deadly insurrection." They mostly failed to note, however, that the only person killed that day was unarmed Trump supporter and veteran Ashli Babbitt, who was shot by Capitol Police. It was revealed months later that there was "no good reason" for shooting her.
For Biden, this is a great opportunity to remind America of his talking point that domestic terrorism and white supremacy—not border collapse, rising crime, inflation, or a $34 trillion debt—are the real threats facing America. In May, Biden promised "to stand up against the poison of white supremacy, as I did in my inaugural address — to single it out as the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy."

Over the top you might think? Hold NBC's beer.
Biden campaign casts Trump as threat to democracy ahead of speech on Jan. 6 anniversary
Do the dems really think this will improve tater's popularity?
Hell, when are they going to make it a Federal Holiday of remembrance? You know, like Juneteenth?
The most dangerous threat to our homeland right now is him and his southern border.
Can't we smite the dems just a bit?Our most dangerous threat to our homeland are Trump and MAGA and cult members like you who want to turn this into a dictatorship.
Meanwhile Joe and the Progs are using the stormtroopers of Homeland Security to forcibly remove and detain Christians from their homes. Calling them haters and destroying them. Some say they need to be put into death camps. Our most dangerous threat to our homeland are Trump and MAGA and cult members like you who want to turn this into a dictatorship.
Liar...link???Meanwhile Joe and the Progs are using the stormtroopers of Homeland Security to forcibly remove and detain Christians from their homes. Calling them haters and destroying them. Some say they need to be put into death camps.
In other words, he will tell the truth about Republicans. The Republican Party is the party of white supremacists. They attack voting rights and endanger women's health. They want to turn law enforcement into their own personal gestapo to go after their political enemies. On that fateful day, MAGA stormed the capitol illegally. All you can do is cite phony polls. Even Republicans know Trump cannot win. While Biden may be unpopular, Trump is more unpopular. Americans will choose a democracy under Biden over a dictatorship under Trump.
The person who was killed got what she deserved. She was storming the capitol and trying to break down the doors to the chamber. One officer died as a result of the attack and around 140 officers were injured. Some still suffer ill health from the effects of the attacks of MAGA. This exemplifies the new MAGA Republican Party. No it was not revealed that there was no good reason for shooting her. It was justified.
The border is not collapsing. Crime is still low. Inflation is caused by big corporations raising prices to fatten their bottom lines. Big Republican tax cuts for the rich increase the debt. The Republican answer is to allow people to go hungry. Don't allow them to have decent healthcare. Go homeless. Republicans only care about the rich.
Trump and the Republican Party are threats to democracy. North Carolina and Wisconsin are perfect examples. Both are swing states yet Republicans hold overwhelming majorities. Half of the state's population are disenfranchised.
