Best wide receiver in football Antionio Brown to be traded by Friday

Reported by Adam Schefter. What will the compensation be? What team will he go to?
He is going to the Niners
Brown has been quite open about wanting to go to the Niners, but I have yet to read anything in regards to their talking to the Steelers about him.

From everything I have read, they appear more interested in Odell Beckham.
Brown has benefitted from being target of a great QB...….San Fran.....welcome to oblivion. Why not New England...odd they are quiet with the total lack of talent at that position.

They don't need to spend the money there in NE it seems . Find fits for the system at WR. Plus would be talking about giving up picks to get him and using up a lot of cap space on him.

They seem to take more low risk low cost reclamation's or young fits (moss, Weller, amendola, etc) rather than going in on an elite costing player at the position.
Randy Moss was a Superstar with an attitude problem....sound familiar....

Nope. Antonio Brown just led the league in touchdowns and had a heck of a last few years.

Randy Moss was coming off of back-to-back to back down and declining years, including the most recent season when he was outside the top 70 in receptions receiving yardage and touchdowns. Moss had as many 0 catch games as 100 yard games (2 of each) in his last 25 starts before New England said if he cut his contract down to 1/7th of what it was they'd take him.

Moss had put up the same numbers as ochocinco the three years before trying to reclaim his career in new England. Moss really worked out and was able to get his on field performance back on track. Ocho not so much. But neither was arguably the best wr in the league or anywhere close when NE went after them.

LEd the League in TDs with Brady who reworked his contract to get him ….ooooops

Yup reclamation. NOBODY was calling Moss on the field an elite receiver when NE traded for him. It was the chance NE could get him back to his former glory.

And NOBODY is saying brown right now isn't an elite receiver.

See the difference?

And yes it worked out very well. Heck the Patriots nearly won a Superbowl with him. But to say that trade in 2007 looks anything like acquiring Brown today is some serious revisionism

Hahahaha. 70th in yards and tds in 2006 is "not stopping producing". Wow how little you think of him.

3 tds in a season Moss was "still producing'!

Yeah.. outside the top 70 is Moss still at his best. Wow. You went full retard. Just stop trying to defend his Oakland years kid.

Like I said. Pats had a great reclamation. But Moss wasn't performing at an elite level in the years before NE got him. Brown is.

NFL bust Matt Jones outplayed Moss in just 4 starts despite Moss starting the full year. But yeah, you believe Moss playing below NFL bust level is "still producing'".... Oh that's brilliant.

Yes Moss leading the league in TDS in 2007 was producing. Moss with 3 tds in 2006 and being the #2 receiver to Ronald Curry is NOT producing.

You don't watch much football do you? 2005 wasn't much better. that was the year that Jerry Porter in the second half of the season took over as Oakland's best receiver. And the year before that Nate Burleson was the best receiver on moss's team.

But for some reason that you was Moss being elite. Almost playing at the level of Jerry Porter Nate Burleson, and then nearly cracking the top 70 in receiving yards.

Just say moss in 2006 was playing anything close to the level of brown last year is a joke

1000 yds 16.8 yd avg per catch...terrible ...nobody would want that...again for a losing team...wonder if time of possession affects stats...….dumbass

Moss in his 3 years before NE recilamed his career almost averaged 800 yards a season..

Yeah that's elite production there.

1000 yds 16.8 yd avg per catch...terrible ...nobody would want that

Yep three straight seasons that were his 3 worst in his career.

But yeah celebrating moss's best time there.. that one year he was 20TH in yards is elite moss. Haahahahahahahahahahaha.

What was brown 2 years before his trade... Oh yeah. 1ST.

Put Antonio on losing team with no name QB.....let me know how does …….dumbass.....

The simple fact is Brown has been an elite receiver on the field the past 3 years before this trade. Moss was not.

Brown is 1st in TDS, 2nd in receptions and yards the past 3 years. That's elite production. Moss wasn't even cracking the top 50 in some of those things his three years.

Pats were not trading for prime producing Moss. They were getting a heck of a deal based on his major slide. That isn't the same as this

Hahaha. Way to change the goalposts kiddo.

Thanks for that. You were worth a laugh at least. 500 yard moss was "producing" .Lol. That's a good one .

Yup. Moss ranked 20th and 73rd the two years before his trade. Brown ranked 1st and 9th the last two years

Seems about the same lol
