As far as debating guns and self defense where someone is attacked by a violent criminal with a deadly weapon...the anti gun grabbers find it easier to stand by the argument that a gunn in he hands of the good guy only makes,the situation worse...details like small children needing protection only confuse the issue...

I am willing to consider alternate methods of protection, such as broom vs knife. However, I also believe it is proper for everyone to personally travel the progression of thought aroused by such details. That said, I will admit I am slow playing this one a bit...

If somebody is going to try and kill me I much prefer they have a knife rather than a gun. Knife you can run away from or defend yourself with any number of things. Not much of a chance with a gun.

And while liberals are at it, they can also ask this poor little girl. A man approached her on the playground and stabbed her. Under liberal gun control laws, this man would have been 100% in accordance with the law, and yet, this child was stabbed and suffered significant injuries.
