So are we to understand now that he left thinks poorly of those who have only medicaid? and in fact they should be turned away.

Why does the far left morph into even more pronounced mental cases when there is a female GOP candidate? I mean...profound levels of obsession!!

Definately makes me wonder how many miserable feminist bulldogs hit the intanets with their rage?

Whats up with that??

Naw.

Pointing out hypocrisy is fun.

Bachmann is now the new queen of hypocrisy.

Here's hoping she wins the nomination...for the Republicans.

But I don't think she's going to make it.

You really have no idea how utterly asinine that statement is in the context of this thread. Truly amazing.

How is it hypocrisy for her husband to treat medicaid patients?

And.... is it as hypocritical as, say, a President raising the debt ceiling when back in 2006 he called such a step a 'sign of failed leadership'?

How is one hypocrisy and the other not?

seems bachman has more trouble than stealing petty's music

While Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., has forcefully denounced the Medicaid program for swelling the "welfare rolls," the mental health clinic run by her husband has been collecting annual Medicaid payments totaling over $137,000 for the treatment of patients since 2005, according to new figures obtained by NBC News.

blah blah blah

"She's giving hypocrisy a bad name," said Ron Pollock, executive director of Families USA, a consumer health care advocacy group, when asked about the Medicaid payments to Bachmann & Associates. "It's clear when it feathers her nest she's happy for Medicaid expenditures. But people that really need it — folks with disabilities and seniors — she's turning their backs on them."

In other words her and her husband provide medical service to their community and thus know the systemic problems with providing such service.

You'd think liberals would want to at least listen to the ideas of folks providing those services to learn what can be done to make it better.

Guess not though, so much for compassioniate liberals.

These libs are becoming delusional. They are now saying that folks that are in the medical field cannot have any say in how it can be changed for the better. Personally I think we should listen to the doctors and hospital administrators because I am sure they know a lot more about what is screwing up health care in our country than some rabid liberals that only know how to spew talking points.

It would be helpful to know what those 'forcefully denouncing' statements against Medicaid were? They should be included in context to make more sense of the op, otherwise, big deal? Find one clinic or doctor's office in the US who hasn't accepted Medicaid payments?

My doctor has stop seeing medicaid patients...As have many.

Then they'd have made that a headline. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. The rationale of the left.

People really need to learn to think critically about media reports and take their partisan opinion out of the equation to arrive at factually accurate, honest, opinions.... sadly, both sides are infected with party above country disease.

Its been brutally apparent for some time now that the left is wholly incapable of thinking critically. The left speaks from talking points and nothing more I strongly doubt that many if any give any thought at all to what they are saying and post's like this are a very clear indication of that fact.

Personally, it's pretty apparent that this inability to think crosses political boundries. It's as prevalent on the right as it is on the left.

Observing the Obvious again, CG?...

Are you suggesting they turn away people using medicaid?

We are incapable of thinking Critically? WE ARE? Good God, how many times do you see us saying that Both parties are responsible? How many times do you see Measures of cooperation and compromise coming from the left in our Congress? If anything, it's the RIGHT that are the "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" monkeys of our society.

You are all about "thinking critically" when it comes to the "Big, bad, government" but refuse to turn your "Critical thinking" skills(or lack thereof) towards the corporatism that your side embraces unabashedly and very publicly.

Your "Critical thinking" skills are limited to bashing the government, the poor and the working people in favor of those that have virtually all the power already.

Yeah, it's the "left's" critical thinking skills that are fucked up:cuckoo:

Correction cause libruls never get it right. Michelle Bachman's husband did not get $137.000 dollars. A clinic he was running received it and I assume it was used for treating patients. You guys have entered your rabid dog summer.. go to the clinic.

HUH damn funny I could swear it was me asking if the left now thinks poorly of people have to use Medicaid.

Just as we are asking the left why they are so determined to screw over the poor and working people of this nation through the left unabashed insane spending and debt level for which our children will be forced to pay for.

One of the aspects of Critical thinking requires a person to look past their believes and look at the future consequence of action that you might take.

Its safe to say that neither you or many on the left are willing to look past merely defending this administration despite the future consequence of its actions now.

Aren't clinics dedicated to helping the poor?

Still haven't seen the 'denouncing statements' that she apparently made, it would be nice to have them in context to go with the op, since the op is making the claim it should provide the rest of the information.
