They aren't saving enough for retirement, insurance is more expensive and the GOP are ruining ss and medicare. No more unions and high paying factory jobs. Now its walmart and McD jobs. America was great because the unions fought and won low skilled no college workers $17.50 an hour right out of high school.

Reagan and Bush played the Moral Majority like a fiddle. They conned over the religious vote so now millions of middle class Americans that should be voting Democratic are voting GOP because of God, Guns and Racism.

Atheists know that being racist is wrong but the bible doesn't seem to harp on that virtue very much. Even the Christians in the 1700's that argued to free the slaves wouldn't let them sit in the white section of the church. They were segregated. So the blacks left and started their own church. As an atheist I don't like how segregated we are.

Well, again, I don't see reason or logic winning out in the views you alluded to - particularly the liberal solutions to 'fair wages' and health insurance.

Excuse me? I think most people understand or realize that if it weren't for "capitalism" and $ we as humans could feed, clothe and provide healthcare for every human being on the planet so no one goes hungry or dies needlessly but because we are greedy selfish and immoral animals we don't live that way. We live Dog Eat Dog. And what I find fascinating is how religious people reconcile their greed with their religion.

I love it when middle class people who suck the rich's balls cry class warfare as if they don't realize class warfare is real and does exist and we/they are losing.
