On the ground in Syria we're seeing the Assad regime dig-in to secure the less-than-half the country they still retain hold and control over,

I do hope the Iranians and Shias from Iraq help him take his country back. So the Iraq army is up fighting for Assad against ISIS while we are sending what 600 troops to help train the Iraqi Army. What a hoot.
