most women cannot keep up with men--fact--a physical fact
they don't have the mass for continuous, physical exertion---while carrying heavy loads
..sure, ''more'' might be able to keep up on a run with no equipment, but that's not a combat MOS...you have to carry a lot of crap around ....their frames are smaller with less muscle mass
...so considering there are very few that want combat positions, it is ludicrous to change the whole system for a very, very tiny amount that want/can perform the combat MOSs

You don't need to be able to throw a hand grenade to be an effective sniper.

sure--there have been effective female snipers, but snipers have to carry a ''lot'' long distances....it just not pulling a trigger
..sometimes snipers do have to throw grenades to stay alive
...sometimes whatever your specialty is, you might have to fight like an infantryman [ sorry-infantry person ]
...a lot of people on here have no idea about the military except what they see in the movies/tv

If you look at the actual military.com article I linked to earlier, you will see that the physical tests in Basic are actually becoming stricter. This one change to grenade throwing distance is not the same as the whole system being changed for a tiny minority. According to the army, it's about the way recruits are showing up to Basic with poor discipline and attitude.

Not any more, men can compete as a woman if they claim they are transgender. Truth is immaterial.

In nearly all sports, the women's league is a minor league where the competition is much much easier than in the major league male version of the sport. Minor leagues always draw poorly.
