These illegal immigrants help some of the largest contributors to the GOP.

How?

They diminish rigidities in the Labor Force; they create a flexible labor market. A flexible labor market is one willing to work for less.

Business wants flexible labor markets. This is why the American private sector gets so much of its labor from places like South Korea, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc.

Nike makes more money when their sneakers are made in South Korea by workers who make $4 a day.

California agribusiness and construction and fast food makes more money when they can hire illegals for lower wages.

Business asked Ronald Reagan to dismantle the high wages imposed by the heavily unionized structure of postwar America. This is why Reagan passed the greatest Amnesty Bill in the history of this country: to break union control of Southwestern Labor Markets... to introduce flexibility into once rigid Labor markets occupied by Americans.

The corporate interests which run your political party wants the flexible labor markets mades possible by illegal immigration.

Labor shortages destroy profits.

Surplus labor, especially if it's illegal, lowers wages and THEREFORE increases profits.

The point of Reaganomics was to open boarders so that capital could flow freely to the cheapest resources and labor. Capitalism dies if you place limits on it. Read your Milton Friedman. The success of capitalism is that it gets incentives right by rewarding investment with higher returns . . . and it doesn't let artificial constructs like borders get in the way of returns. This is why we have global capitalism - so all the world's capital can have maximum access to all the world's labor and resources. A world of closed borders would destroy capitalism.
