Aaah ... see, the government is still more powerful, just because it is being manipulated by a few corporations doesn't make it less, the fact that it CAN be manipulated to cut out competition shows that there is too much power in the government, not the reverse. Take the power from the government and the corporations manipulating it lose their power to. Take the power from just the corporations and they will find another way to manipulate the ruling body.

As I say, take away the regulations and the power goes back to the people because it leaves nothing in the government that the few major corporations with poor quality, over priced, American made garbage to keep pushing out the smaller and higher quality, better priced products out of business.

If any of that is true, the government owns and regulates those companies ... so who is really still in power?

Let's not forget which entity consecrates corporate charters into law, extends limited liabilities from lawsuits to corporations, alternately extends and retracts various and sundry tax breaks and regulations, operates huge protection rackets like the FDA which squeeze out all but the biggest corporations from the game....The list goes on and on.

Like I said in my first offering on the topic...Corporations are merely the capos, it's big gubmint that is Don Vito.
