Appeals Court : Trump has NO IMMUNITY

Not in a rented room of a seedy motel.
Don’t be obtuse. They weren’t prosecuted for being in a motel. They were prosecuted for promising official acts in exchange for money.

So clearly they don’t have immunity from prosecution for official acts.

Promising isn't performing an official act.

Members of Congress and federal judges are immune from civil and criminal prosecution for their official acts. Currently, presidents are only immune from civil prosecution for their official acts. That is because the Supreme Court has never had to decide whether that extends to criminal prosecutions, as no president has ever faced a criminal prosecution until the Democrats’ four criminal indictments against Trump.
Boy, Ford really screwed up then.

Dude, you’re splitting hairs. The official act is literally what makes it a crime. Claiming you have immunity makes no sense.

Can you find any judicial reference to immunity for criminal prosecution from Congress or judges?

Would you call taking a bribe as 'constituent services'? It doesn't fall within the duties of a congressman as it's unrelated to his actual duties......he would be performing an act without lawful authority.

Judicial criminal immunity in cases of malfeasance and/or misfeasance...depending on the specifics of the case.

Congress has immunity from being arrested for criminal activity while on the job.

It's not a bribe without tying it to the official act. There's no lawful authority to defraud the government either, so I guess that means that Trump can't claim immunity by this faulty logic. You're chasing your tail here. You're saying anything unlawful does not have immunity, but then this whole concept of immunity makes no sense since you don't need immunity from prosecution for lawful actions.

Let's see a specific case where immunity has been claimed for criminal activity as part of official duties. Anything.

Excellent, excellent, excellent

He has till February 12th to appeal to the SCOTUS and says he will.

WWWOOOWWW! not only a Global Warming Fruitcake, this one is Marxist pro-DEM anti-America as much as any of the rats around here. I knew it! As-if there is any real Crime committed by Trump. Have not seen one yet.......since 2015 they have been trying to hang the poor guy. And you are OK with POLICE STATE? What a verminous loon you are//

Did.......your point?
McDonnell was given large sums of money but never performed any official acts, which is why his bribery conviction was overturned.

Your entire premise remains unsupported.

He should appeal. Especially, since everybody knows that the DC Circuit is just a Dem-plantation in disguise.
The verbiage in their ruling, verifies the unchecked bias. They are calling crimes, what he is NOT calling crimes. Which of course, verifies that the judges lacked the ability to ever even view Trump's claim [or his dispute] from a neutral, fair light in order to rule on it.
SCOTUS WILL GIVE HIM IMMUNITY BECAUSE THEY CANNOT ALLOW THIS CAN OF WORMS TO OPEN. JUST LOKE THE BALLOT BS

SCOTUS will most certainly not give him absolute immunity.

And there is no can of worms. Trump committed crime sprees in his spare time, not as official acts. And the next president who does so should also go to prison after leaving office.

Lol.....Trump is just more vocal than his predecessors or his successor....not more evil.

CAN OF WORMS....it will stay closed.
