During the Pelosi Open-Borders/Hurt-Trump-In-2020 Shutdown several Democrats strayed off the 'reservation' and began negotiating with Republicans to try to come up with a compromise to open the govt back up.
The D-Ga Rep told the media that negotiating and compromise, working together, is how things get done in politics in DC.
After President Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016 Democrats declared they were committed to Obstruction, blocking everything the President and Republicans attempted to accomplish for the good of the nation. Their opposition / vow had limitations, though, as Democrats did negotiate an agreement to reopen the govt and joined them in doing so...
...except for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She was the lone Democrat to vote against a bill to fund and re-open the government.

Screw working together for the good of the nation. - AOC considered the President and GOP as the enemy, and she saw any Democrat who voted with the GOP to open back up the govt as a traitor.

AOC is now taking a flamethrower to our govt based on communication, negotiation, and compromise while making an effort to split her party and puss off even more of her fellow Democrats:
