My only disagreement with any of the above is that I think Trump is purposely goading the Ds into self caricature. The job description of president does not include destroying the opposition party (s), the fake news and similar sideshows. So, Trump needs to ratchet down the Obama imitation.

Trump is offering accomplishments where the Democrats are offering just rhetoric as they did in the 2016 election. No new policies no forward thinking for the future, just dirt on Trump.
