US home prices dip in Dec, annual slide slows -S&PCaseShiller Reuters - Washington - Lynn Adler - ‎32 minutes ago‎ NEW YORK, Feb 23 (Reuters) - US home prices unexpectedly slipped in December but the annual rate of decline slowed, reinforcing the housing market's rocky road to recovery, Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller indexes showed on Tuesday. Unexpectedly? Damn, how stupid do they think the American people are? Outrageous! The housing market has been collapsing for three years now and all of a sudden it is unexpected. I live in San Diego. I see housing prices fall every day. It makes a weird sound when it happens, almost like homeowners groaning and groaning and groaning. Could it be?
They have a function in word now at AP. They type in "prices" and word automaticly expands it to 'prices unexpectedly' None of this surprises anyone but the folks at AP.
