Seeing culture-valuation shows such as Picket Fences and Northern Exposure growing up, I realized how much Americans care about pro-human vigilance, despite the primitive lure of consumerism-conveniences (e.g., eBay, Facebook, etc.). That's something the Trump Administration will be obligated to contemplate.

Scoreboards for Trump may be more symbolic than basic approval-ratings. Then again, isn't that what a participant-democracy is all about? Is there room to bring back the idealism of Hearst and Nast?

Samuels was from Albania but immigrated to Virginia and moved to an idyllic small town where various American celebrities had secretly made vacation homes. If you were a townsfolk, you knew this secret, and you were not supposed to tell anyone. Samuels had no intention of violating this residency-pact, especially since he befriended he children of the American movie-stars Tom Cruise and Casey Affleck who were among the celebrities who vacationed in that small town. Samuels loved comic books and shared them with these kids and developed a nice bond with them.

Four summers later, a strange band of Australians moved in, claiming to be descended from a line of mail-couriers from Melbourne and Sydney. This band called itself the Aussies, and Samuels soon discovered the Aussies were actually a group of mercenaries working for ISIS, developing an Internet infiltration unit on American soil after getting inside-information that various 'celebrities' were vacationing in that small town. Samuels decided to dress up like the American comic book superhero Captain America fashioned with a monkey-cap (or 'balaclava') he brought from Albania and some terrific sunglasses. Samuels (aka, 'Captain America') decided to subvert the Internet-hacking plans of the 'ISIS Aussies.'

The leader of the Aussies (named Nigel) began to suspect that some townsfolk had discovered their plans and wondered if it was because various celebrities were vacationing in that small town. Nigel decided that it was because of Tom Cruise that the information leaked out and planned to target Cruise's vacation home. However, when Nigel was relaying this plan to one of his 'goons,' Samuels happened to be walking by and overheard the conversation. Samuels (aka, 'Captain America') decided to do something heroic to save the small town (and Tom Cruise!). However, Samuels was betrayed by some local post-office men who heard the gossip of an eccentric walking around dressed as Captain America and told Nigel (whom they thought was a legitimate 'Aussie mail-man').

Nigel realized this wandering 'Captain America' wannabe was trying to stir up strange emotions regarding community craziness by dressing up as a comic book character out-of-season (in other words, not for Halloween!). "If this fellow Samuels walks around as Captain America, then townsfolk might start asking strange questions such as, 'What do you Aussies think of Captain America supporting your local Internet reliability?' and the celebrities will then draw the attention of the press!" Nigel ordered his ISIS Aussie goons to kill Samuels (aka, 'Captain America'), but the 'vigilante' escaped and posted on the Carolina Gazette: "ISIS-related FedEx Invasion Imminent!" What ensued would be known as The Small-Town Journalism War.
