A decade late and half a billion behind in spending. I mean these guys took it to an art form. Constructed "model legislation", basically hands it to some bought out state legislator--and these state legislators, in many states go for a song. Making twenty grand a year in salary and poaching a per diem. I mean check out some of these folks, they pop up on the internet pretty often, spouting utter nonsense, off the wall stuff, and become a laughing meme.

Many of these "model legislation" bills show up, word for word, in multiple state legislatures. Hell, they don't even attempt to hide it. It has been going on for years and years.
