Yeah that "Hope and Change" agenda worked pretty good in 2010 didn't it?Great interview. I'm starting to like Simpson. Too bad none of the social conservatives running the GOP will ever heed his words. Of course, I'm glad they continue to push their antiquated social agenda. With the direction this country is heading, social conservatives, and their beliefs, are becoming more irrelevant everyday. Please, conservatives, keep driving away gays, minorities and young people with your out-of-touch rhetoric and social policies. You can keep your angry, white men, we'll take the rest - the future of the country.
Keep your head in the sand, America will be better for it.
You're a partisan hack with no fucking clue. What does 2010 have to do with it? Did the GOP run on a conservative social agenda? No, they didn't. They ran on jobs and the economy. You know why? Because, if the GOP ran on an anti-abortion, anti-gay agenda, they would have lost big time. Social cons, like you, are out of touch with the views of most Americans. Keep dreaming though. Maybe in 2012, the GOP will run on that unpopular, out-of-touch agenda. That's my hope anyway. Keep your head up your ass, it's better than looking at your face.
