The Democrat Candidates for president, now Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, have been making a major mistake. Every time they speak, they insult and disparage President Trump.
There's a big problem with that. It is that the majority of American voters LIKE the president. They are who elected him in 2016, and after 3+ years of a successful presidency, they like him even more now.
Instead of bad-mouthing Trump, what Biden & Sanders ought to do is refrain from that, and just promise to keep America going strong (economy, military, America first, etc), and promise to add some good things of their own, which will benefit everyone (not just poor immigrants & minorities).
It shouldn't be too hard to think of a list of good reforms that they could tout, without being overly specific.
I realize that they are in a primary race for the Democratic nomination, but all of what they say now, will come back to bite whoever wins the nomination (or Bernie going 3rd party), when the general election campaign gets going.
