Adultry is costing Tiger about $180M a year

Palmer has always been a great role model. He has built a hospital, The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Women in Orlando. A truly great man........ quite a contrast to Tiger.

Have you seen the work Tiger's done with kids through his foundation? To say he hasn't done great things off the course is to admit one knows little about the man.

And stories are out there about Arnie and his women back in the day. I'm a big golfer and I love Arnie so I'm not putting the man down. I'm just saying I think you're analogy of the two men is off.

And you know Palmer hasn't strayed with groupies?

No I don't, I doubt that he has but no I don't. Do you know whether Barry Obama has bedded down any of his male or female groupies?
Totally off topic......

I know that but then again........ is it? The thread is about a guy perceived to be black cheating on his wife with groupies. Isn't Barry another guy who is perceived to be black and could easily be cheating on that giant assed, jerk of a wife? Well, I guess I wouldn't blame him............ never mind.

I've been heavily involved with golf for over 40 years. I have caddied in a couple of U.S. Opens, The Bing Crosby Clambake(back when they still played Cypress Point!), The Memorial and The Masters along with a number of amateur tournaments and qualifiers. I am also a partner in a golf graphics business that produces yardage books, scorecards and photography across the globe. I don't play as much as I would like but maintain a 6 handicap. My brother was a world class amateur player in the 70s and 80s and now is a swing coach for a number of PGA and college players......... I have heard a lot and seen a lot about the tour. Tiger has been known for years to be a "swinger" and not with his golf clubs. Michelson is known to have been a serious gambling addict. I have never heard anything about Palmer being a womanizer.

I like your golf history. Did you ever get the chance to play Cypress Point? That is my goal. Pretty cool you got to caddie in an Open.

He was a role model.

Tiger Woods is in that same hyper visible spotlight, and as such, because of what he represents (fair play, family values, cool under pressure, etc.), whenever someone like that tries to duck an issue, that is being dishonest.

And, you can't be dishonest as a role model. Not in today's world.

Maybe Bill Clinton was Tiger Wood's Role Model.

Every generation has its failed role models, and those that make it.....

I grew up with '70's role models, and look how I turned out!

No I haven't, it's up there with Augusta as far as exclusivity. I did get to hit a shot during a practice round on the spectacular par 3 15th. Hit wedge onto the green about 30 feet. That course is the finest piece of real estate I have ever seen. I caddied at the 1977 Open at Southern Hills in Tulsa and the 1978 Open at Cherry Hills in Denver...... very exciting. The Masters was surreal, there was my brother on the practice tee, to his left .........Palmer, Nicklaus, Watson, Norman, Player. To the right ....... Snead, Nelson, Sarazen, Trevino, Ballesteros, Crenshaw and Payne Stewart. At one point Hootie Johnson came up to my brother and told him to tell his caddy to put his hat on (I only wear a hat if it's raining). Very nerve wracking caddying in something like that.

Wow... those are great stories. I live in San Francisco and have played Pebble, Spyglass etc and have a couple of friends who have played Cypress and say they can get me on. That's one of those I'll believe it when I see it type deals. They've been saying it for years but hasn't happened yet but I hold out hope.

Man, I can only imagine what it would be like to be surrounded at the Masters by those names you mentioned.

Yep! tis true, but the stupidest one of all was old billboard clinton, he knew the whole while that the Republicans were digging up dirt on him and he went and did it anyway.. now that's just plain thinking with yer dick mentality.. yep!
LOL, and Clinton had high poll numbers during his impeachment. That had to really piss off cons.

Do you remember when Dan Quayle flew out to play Cypress right after Sununu got in all of that trouble for using government planes to fly to antique shows, when you get invited to pay there..........you go at all cost.

Have you played Half Moon Bay's 2 courses? We did the original yardage books for them. I pissed off a manager there when she tried to get us to lower our pricing so I know our books aren't in there any more. Gorgeous place though. I just looked at their web site, they still have our graphics on the hole by hole descriptions.

Haha... yeah it is pretty amazing and I have had the chance to play and stay there. That's cool you did that work. And I agree with you on the Cypress. I recently dated this psycho b*tch for a year and her uncle was a member at Cypress. I remember when we broke up I wanted to ask her if I could still be friends with her uncle so he would take me to play. lol...

You know.........Tiger Woods has brought up a very important issue that all men should pay attention to.....

If you want to fuck around, marry a swinger or a porn star. Otherwise, stick to what you chose, and when you don't want it any more, get divorced and marry someone else.

Simple.
