NEW YORK (AP) — A prosecutor's office says it has found no criminal wrongdoing on the part of three employees of the community organizers group ACORN caught on video advising a couple posing as a prostitute and her boyfriend.

The Brooklyn district attorney's office said Monday that its five-month inquiry is over and that no criminal activity was found.

I knew this would be the outcome. If stupid were against the law, a whole lot of politicians would be in jail.

Where are all of our wingnuts??? Nothing bad to say about the prosecutor? I find it the height of irony, that the ACORN employees were not prosecuted, but the wingnut who made the tape was arrested.....

All the wingnuts will ignore this. Just like how they ignored this thread that I started a few months ago when the CRS found no illegal activity on the part of ACORN.

Of course they were cleared. They didn't actually commit a crime. They just gave a little free advice on HOW TO COMMITT A CRIME.

They didn't actually get them a house to conduct the prostitution in or bring in the underaged girls.

They just gave a little bit of free advice to the two. Letting them know how to go about getting their brothel set up. Fine upstanding ACORN reps that they were. Who would expect anything else. LOL

Exactly! It's not like 'how to run a brothel' was in the ACORN training manual. This was a problem with 'individuals', not the entire organization. What the wingnuts tried to do to ACORN is the equivalent of dismantling the entire department of defense because a couple of colonels taught south american officers the skills necessary to take over their governments.
