About Those Supposed "18 School Shootings Since January": More Fake News

Ok , so there was only 12 shootings . Feel better??

No, there were less than that. Some of the shootings took place during the summer when the school was closed. One instance I heard of happened at 8:00 pm when the school was long closed.

They are considering a "school shooting" anything that happens on school grounds day or night. It's just more liberal lying is all it is. Schools are places kids hang around at night and during the summer. That's where I hung around as a kid. The school had a baseball field, basketball hoops, a playground, drinking fountains...... In the inner city, it's also a place where drugs are exchanged which at times leads to violence.

And one of them no one was hit ! So it doesn’t count !

Even if the number is 6. We are only a month and a 1/2 into the year !

Well, well, I thought the claim about "18 school shootings this year alone" sounded odd. It turns out that some of these "school shootings" weren't even intentional, while others involved a shot or two being fired with no injuries.

Media Push The Claim There Have Been 18 School Shootings In 2018. Here Are The Facts.
The exact count doesn't matter.

One slaughtered schoolchild attributable to lax gun-access and gun-control laws and mechanisms is one slaughtered child too many.

America at-large has grown tired of your obstruction in attempts to prevent 30,000+ gun deaths each year.

America at-large is growing furious at your obstruction as it becomes complicit in the slaughter of innocent schoolchildren, again and again.

Either join the movement for sane and reasonable gun controls now, to ensure your place at the table, or be swept aside in the coming years.

You have been warned.

It's not a wonder why most entertainers are leftists. We on the right just don't have your creativity.

Gun popularity has been growing for years now. In our state, we have more female applicants for CCW permits than male.

We on the right say the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. The left says the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to disarm his potential victims.

But keep that chin up. We all have our dreams.
You can have a reasonable number of guns and a reasonable amount of ammunition, of pretty much any kind you like.

So long as you're licensed and trained and your weapons are registered and their sale and transfer are properly vetted and tracked.

Just how much longer do you think that the American People at-large are going to look the other way while school children are slaughtered?

You're deluding yourself if you think the status quo is going to endure for much longer.

And which one of your suggestions would guarantee us no more mass shootings? I would love to know.

Do you know how long recreational narcotics have been illegal? All of my life of 57 years and beyond. Yet we have a much larger problem with drugs today than we did 40 years ago.

And who is this arbiter that decides what a "reasonable" amount of ammo or guns would be? No matter what it is, when Democrats get control of the federal government again, it will keep getting reduced every year until all we could own is a .22 with five rounds. No thank you. Democrats are evil people. They are not to be trusted. We seen what they did with the IRS and the FBI these past eight years. No.

There is a problem with no apparent solution
It belies reason that saturation of violent video games and other diminishments of the sanctity of life have had no effect. Fragmentation of the family is contributory also

Most people didn't even know a gang was called MS-13 until Trump mentioned them. But somehow its a priority for you. You fools love to lap up the jizz that Faux Propoganda spews to you ladies.

Holy Batchit, Robin! You rat fvckers' mind is blown.

Now you are bashing and denying that school shooting exist and aren't bad. You can't have this both ways.
I've known about them for years. Even fed some of them.

Probably if you took the time to investigate each clam, you would find only one real school shooting, and likely not inside the school building.

Solution to what?

...And which one of your suggestions would guarantee us no more mass shootings? I would love to know....
None.

What such suggestions WILL accomplish is to minimize the chances of such weapons falling into the wrong hands.

There are no rock-solid guarantees... only common-sense precautions and probabilities.

Trouble is, we're not even doing that at-present.

...Do you know how long recreational narcotics have been illegal? All of my life of 57 years and beyond. Yet we have a much larger problem with drugs today than we did 40 years ago. ..
With one important distinction... virtually all firearms are produced in licensed factories from which the movement of product can be vigorously controlled.

...And who is this arbiter that decides what a "reasonable" amount of ammo or guns would be?...
Your elected representatives, of course.

Fortunately, we have a two-party system in this country.

...Democrats are evil people...
No more so than Corporatist Whore Republicab politicians - almost as bad as Democratic Populist Whore politicians...

...They are not to be trusted. We seen what they did with the IRS and the FBI these past eight years. No.
Neither party is to be trusted.

The Democrats less than the Republicans, but not by an order of magnitude.

The Feds can establish nationwide standards ( OK to own one AR-15, OK to own one shotgun, one hunting rifle, one target rifle, two handguns, whatever).

The States can exceed or shrink the Federal standard if they so choose... Home Rule.

The Dems don't want your damned guns.

A lot of Dems own them too.

They just want every user to be vetted and licensed and for weapons to be registered and mandatory trainings and refreshers and elimination of sales loopholes.

And they want it done consistently across the nation... the same in Alaska as it is in Connecticut... and all playing to the same data decks.

Then progressives really should stop their mass shooting...

None.

So then by your own admission, you want more laws that won't solve anything. That's what we on the right are fighting against. Now if you can tell me what law would stop all mass shootings, I'm on board. But don't make laws that hinder the ability of law abiding citizens to have firearms while the criminal element are still getting theirs from the same places they got them before.

With one important distinction... virtually all firearms are produced in licensed factories from which the movement of product can be vigorously controlled.

Yes they are. We have hundreds of laws on the books, and what good have they done?

So we find a way to stop firearm ownership, and then it opens up the market; the same kind of market where illegal drugs come from. We would have people smuggling them in from out of country, people making them at home, theft and even murder to get a weapon from a police officer or armed guard. Then what would we have solved?

Your elected representatives, of course.

And that's the most frightening thing.

Fortunately, we have a two-party system in this country.

We do. And all it takes is one party to have enough control for enough time to nearly outlaw firearms in this country. Look how Fd up our healthcare system is today. DumBama had ownership of the federal government for a very short time, but enough time to screw up this entire country.

Neither party is to be trusted.

The Democrats less than the Republicans, but not by an order of magnitude.

The Democrats way more than the Republicans. The Republicans are not using any and every underhanded trick to defeat opposition.

The Feds can establish nationwide standards ( OK to own one AR-15, OK to own one shotgun, one hunting rifle, one target rifle, two handguns, whatever).

And that would solve what exactly?

The States can exceed or shrink the Federal standard if they so choose... Home Rule.

Then what would be the point of having federal standards in the first place? States can do that now unless they violate constitutional rights.

The Dems don't want your damned guns.

Yes they do, it's just that we are protected from them taking our guns. If we had an all Democrat federal government, and a liberal biased supreme court, your guns would be gone tomorrow.

A lot of Dems own them too.

That's why we call them hypocrites.

They just want every user to be vetted and licensed and for weapons to be registered and mandatory trainings and refreshers and elimination of sales loopholes.

And they want it done consistently across the nation... the same in Alaska as it is in Connecticut... and all playing to the same data decks.

No, what they want is enough power to be able to skirt the constitution and disarm us at the same time. For instance, bring back the ability to sue gun manufacturers and sellers out of business. If nobody can sell you a gun, then you won't be able to get a gun, and it's not violating our Constitution.

Taxation is the other option. Look at what DumBama did to roll your own cigarette shops. He closed them all down using taxation. You can't give power hungry people the ability to do things like that. Tobacco products are on the liberal radar list. He almost doubled the price of cigarettes, stopped Indian reservations from mail order cigarettes, and again, closed down roll your own shops. See why you can't give Democrats any kind of power?

for that you do not need to guess at probabilities to see that idea is a failure

take Chicago for example guns are pretty much completely banned

yet the city is awash in them and in the wrong hands

Fake news, how so? I looked at the first 3 news sources that were hyper-linked in the "Dailywire" you referenced and stopped right there knowing which media was shoveling the bull.

ABC News: Their statistic has come into question by some new organizations including The Washington Post, which say that the number has been “inflated” by including shootings and gunfire on school grounds that, for instance, did not include attacks on students.

New York Daily News
lists the incidents individually starting with these 2:
Jan. 3, St. Johns, Mich.
The first school shooting took place just three days into the new year, at East Olive Elementary School in St. Johns, Mich.

A 31-year-old man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the former school’s parking lot.

Jan. 4, Seattle, Wash.
A gunshot was fired at the New Start High School in Seattle, Wash. The round entered an office window and ended up lodged in a three-ring binder. No one was injured.

WUSA9: Not all shootings that have happened this year are related to an active shooter situation and not all shootings on school campuses have resulted in injury or death. It then goes on an lists them as did The New York Daily News.

Ben Shapiro did a nice segment on this "18 school shootings this year" myth. I showed it to my youngest daughter because her school teachers had told her this myth. It was an eye-opener for her.

That's because they come across the State Line from Gary and Hammond et al.

When Indiana is obliged to subscribe and adhere to the same standards its neighbors, that flow will slow to a trickle.

Next slide, please.
